Reimagine is back in Penticton in a big way. Thanks to our many generous donors and building owners, we are proud to bring talented artists to decorate our city streets. Artists will be at work all weekend long with a videography and photographer on duty.

For all your Arts Rising questions and concerns, we will have our pop-up youth gallery also function as a merch, ticket purchase, and question booth, as well as a venue for workshops and musical acts as they "appear" throughout the day. Come check out all the youth entries into our call to artists, put on by the YES Penticton Youth Project.

• Art and Soul Workshop with Nettie Steuernagel of Something Blue Photography* **
*Inspired by the popular Paint Nights that have popped up all over, Art and Soul is a fun way to interact with and meet other artists in the community and be creative at the same time. Aspiring artists come together and follow the easy instructions from a local artist, and are encouraged to infuse their creation with their own ideas. Supplies and refreshments are provided.
**These sessions are free, however there is a limit of 20 people per session, so call 250-328-8902 to sign up and reserve your spot.

Ever wondered about a sculpture? What it is made of? What the artist was telling you through their work?
Join Robin Robertson, Chair of the Penticton Public Art Committee on a 45-60 minute walk of the sculptures along Penticton’s Okanagan Lake waterfront and downtown.
Meet at the steps of City Hall, 171 Main Street, Penticton, BC
Free sign up however participants are asked for a donation, of their choice, to the Penticton Public Art Fund.
PHOTO WALK: Those who are interested in joining this are encouraged to join as a part of a Photowalk, which will combine the sculptures adorning the Lakefront with an opportunity to take some photos and get some steps in at the same time.

Okanagan Culture Photography Exhibition Contest will be displayed at Felts Photo & Printing (221 Main St) for the duration of the Festival.
The Photography Exhibition Contest will be judged by professional photographers and members of our community. There are 2 prizes for each entrant category: Pro, Amateur and Junior. Theme is Okanagan Culture, covering categories of People, Wildlife, Landscapes and Miscellaneous.

Photo Scavenger Hunt Sept 21st-24th
Join us for an interactive photo contest via Instagram during the Festival where you'll hunt, photograph, hashtag and post as many items as you can find off the scavenger list provided on our website at the start of the Festival. Photo Scavenger Hunt is open to all ages & skill levels, with 2 prizes for each entrant category: Pros, Amateurs & Juniors (to age 18).

This year to celebrate culture in Canada for 150 years we are making “ Connections” within our community and nationally with other FCA chapters. We are in collaboration with Okanagan School of the Arts at the Shatford Centre during the Penticton Arts Council’s multi-venue Festival “Arts Rising”. Shatford will be hosting a national juried show for any FCA active member and a conference that is open to the public. This ambitious undertaking is planned and presented by the Federation of Canadian Artists – South Okanagan Similkameen (FCA-SOS) through its volunteers.
Plein Air Day is open to the public, as well as the art demostrations and opening reception.
SHANNON FORD SOLO SHOW OPENING

Shannon Ford will be presenting her array of work in person at this free event being held at the Lloyd Gallery. Children and Families are welcome to attend, so bring your whole family to view some of Shannon's beautiful horse and nature themed art while being able to ask her all the questions burning in your heart.
